Meaningless Strike on 26th & 27th Sept, Why ?

All India Bank's strike called by various officers union on 26th & 27th Sept is meaningless, its all because AIBEA is not supporting the strike and only officers union are favoring it.

It seems clerks are in support of Mergers.

If you think, it doesn't like this, though strike call is not being supported by AIBEA General Secretary CH Venkatachalam, but he called for another strike on 22nd October for the same cause i.e. Against Merger. Businessline reported that :

The All-India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA), the largest bank union in the country, and Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI), have called for an all-India bank strike on October 22.
It shows the reality about the unity in Bankers. There is no such unions where call for strike are taken separately for the common cause.

For a common bankers, these strikes are nothing more than salary cut and indirectly providing benefit to the management.
