Indian Bankers' Association (IBA) is not at all serious about the bankers' wage revision. There are many reasons to prove it, few of them are
1. On 29th Sept 2018 Meetinf IBA has proposed the formula of 'Performance Linked Salary Structure' and didn't discuss on any of the agenda items.
2. In the same meeting they informed Bankers' Union for another round of meeting during last week of October.
3. As per their schedule UFBU had called the meeting of all the unions on 14th October to decide the future course of action and discussion on Performance linked salary.
4. IBA reschedules the October meeting on 12th October 2018.
5. UFBU couldn't be able to hold any meeting to discuss the roadmap as on date.
6. IBA received direction from Finance Ministry to packup the Wage revision at earliest on behest of Vijaya Bank, Dena Bank and Bank of Baroda merger.
There are many other reasons which proved that IBA is not at all interested in settling the dues of bankers.
